This weeks new release list is now up on the OK Comics website http://www.okcomics.co.uk/?pageid=2.

This weeks most interesting release is IT WAS THE WAR OF THE TRENCHES Hardcover by Jacques Tardi. A French Charley's War perhaps, this is the first time it has been translated into English. Also of interest is THE ART OF JAMIE HERNANDEZ

Good books this week include CREEPER by STEVE DITKO Hardcover which collects all of Ditko's work on his best post-Marvel character, DO ANDROIDS DREAM OF ELECTRIC SHEEP volume 2 which is actually an illustrated novel rather than an adaptation as it doesn't miss out a word of P. K. Dick's 3rd best novel, OUR SENTENCE IS UP which is a collection of Essays about Grant Morrison's Invisibles, SPIDER-MAN COMPLETE CLONE SAGA Volume 1 which might not be good but it certainly is interesting that they are reprinting this combination of complete reton and continuity porn.

This weeks big comics include Blackest Night # 8 finishing off the spectrum-centric crossover, Dragon Age # 1 tieing into the popular RPG computer game, X-Men Second Coming # 1 kicking off the return of Jean Grey (probably) and Terminator # 1 which connects the 4th film with the 1st one.

    Cheers, Oliver

I really liked the last issue of Rasl, which was more about Tesla than dimension jumping art thieves.
