    Sweet as f**k :)
Seriously, I've got a good feeling about this flick. With Kenneth Branagh (who is also sweet as f**k, I have such a man crush on him) directing, I think it won't descend into a mindless bitch-slap fest which would be so tempting for a lesser director to do.

"MY god has a big frickin' hammer!" :)

    Doesn't Thor's costume look like plastic? I hope this picture's a fake!

Not a fake, not an imaginary story... ahem

I don't think it looks plastic as such, maybe a tad on the "synthetic" side, but that could be to do with the lighting.

Looks cool - better than I'd hoped.

Well it looks better than the JRJR rendition of Thor in the FCBD Iron Man thing. Or the Avengers first issue adverts. And is it my natural cynicism or are the New New Avengers the line up for the new movie? Hence the new title?
  3.
do you think they'll use the origional plot with the Hulk & Loki, and thats why Stark appeared in the last Hulk film...

Think the pic looks good. I like Thor, but I think out of all the Marvel heroes this one could be difficult to sell to none comic fans.

As thought, the costumes do indeed look a lot better from actual shots of the film:

That's the trouble with early promo shots, they are generally just straight shots with full on lighting, and so things look a lot different after things have been filmed and put through post-production.

Have at thee, naysayers! For Odin speaks, and when Odin speaks mere mortals tremble. And when Kenneth Branagh films Odin speaking one needs to watch and shutteth thou mouth!

(Lot of footage and looks bloody good!)

That trailer must be the entire damn film. I'm definitely more sold than I was by the stills, though.

I didn't see him flying and I hope it stays that way. Thor flying (or hitching a lift with his hammer, or whatever) has never sat right with me.

They seem to have dropped the Donald Blake persona and there doesn't look to be alot of Asgardians actually in Asgard, though it does look amazing...
I did like the Stark reference towards the end, but creating the balance of a shared universe can be hard, how many books did Iron Man actually guest in after Civil War ended...

    Why is Asgard all gold?

Because it belongs to the little known Norse God Terry?

    What?!

Any colour it wants to be! Who's gonna argue with a bunch of blood thirsty Viking gods ;-)
