I havent planned anything as yet. But its my birthday in a month (Dec 19th). If anybody wants to, I am thinking of going for drinks the weekend before. If anyone is interested.

I am happy with the Swan. The pubs near where I live are usually way out of everyones reach (at Roundhay & Oakwood) and the only other decent one I know is The Reliance.
I havent forgotten this topic. No rest for the wicked!! I have just been so busy at work...and txting my vote to the Jungle!! (I am a Celeb). I am addicted...!!
Lets provisionally say Saturday 16th Dec, at the Swan. If its too close to xmas or anything, just let me know. Times?? probably early evening around 6pm. I am flexible :)

Its an open invitation. Just as long as they dont come dressed as Batman...(!) I am just feeling christmassy and thought it would be nice combine the two: Christmas with a social occassion for my Birthday. My birthday isnt until Tuesday.

Yes :) Saturday is better for me. The buses are even more unreliable on Sundays, its Shadwell`s rubbish transport system!! We really need a TRAM - peferably not from Roundhay, like signs suggest!Every other city has one. Getting back, I have found I can get a Moortown bus & ring for a lift. Its cheaper!
Times...is 6pm okay, at the Swan? We met around that time last time. This week I am going to wind down at work, so i hope to be on here a bit more. Things have been v busy.
Sadly crime doesn't take the weekend off so The Shadow must dispense blazing justice from his twin .45s rather than sip fine wines and enjoy an evening of erudite chat. Or I have to look after Mrs Shadow and The Little Shadow, as they seem to have contracted Captain Trips. Jared - thanks for the X23 comics. I am deprived of them until the 25th now - after being caught having a sneek peek, when I got home!! Happy Xmas to everybody on here. I had a great time. 29 has come around too fast and I really wish I had a bit more stamina - medical reasons. (I suffer with appetite loss, so that explains why I take so long over food & drinks/ lack of energy. Its the reverse of the obesity gene).
