List four items, a comic trade paperback, a CD, a DVD & a book.

Tales of The Clerks (because it's soooo much better than I thought it would be)

Skin & Bones by the Foos

Forbidden Planet (region 1, 2 DVD set) because there's a great selection of extras (otherwise it would've been Smith II Evening Harder)

The Joke's Over by Ralph Steadman because Hunter Thompson is dead and Steadman's the only one that can tell the tales.

aw come on collector you have to convince us that there is at least one non-visual book that interests you.

this is tough for me, a lot of things i have my eye on. but i'll give it a go:

    1) the latest Y: the last man trade
    2) Jarvis Cocker - Jarvis Cocker
    3) Peep Show series 3
4)George Orwell - Keep the Aspidistra Flying

and if category 5 is a computer game and category 6 is a magical christmas wish i would have to go for Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and goodwill to all people

  6.
1)New frontier Absolute Edition - Because the real meaning of Christmas is: the more they spend the more they love you.
2)The Proposition OST - Nick Cave & Warren Ellis (NOT that Warren Ellis) - To complete my Cave collection.
    3)Deadwood Series 1 - Westerns rule.
4)Against The Day by Thomas Pynchon - Because people will be impressed when they see it on my shelf, even though I won't understand it. I won't tell them that though.

Almost forgot: Thanks to Santa Nimbus for the CI and the TZ discs. Much appreciated. Forgive my slack manners. Cheers Sir and your very good health!

This Christmas everyone should sit down with their entire family and watch The Proposition, right after the queens speech.
  7.
    Did you enjoy it though?

Yes. Very much. It's one of my favorite Westerns.
And it's set at Christmas too.
  8.
I'm just starting on my Brisco County boxset with Bruce Campbell. A western series with a science fiction theme and a horse that thinks it's human. Weird and interesting.

I'm with Georgiana on this one ...

Scott Pilgrim 3 - it was a toss up today, Loveless or Mr Pilgrim. JM did his hard sell and told me i needed Loveless ...
Deftones latest album - Why do not yet have it?!
Lady and the Tramp - I've had an urge to rewatch all the disney films for a while. I believe i may have missed something.
Derren Brown's new book - which admittedly i have just been given, yay!

And I can't wait to see The Proposition. I've heard many good things ...
Ooo, and Nimbus, ask JM for your under-the-counter pressie when you go in on Saturday - merry xmas!

OK Man is right you do need loveless. Is the vengeance trilogy the lady vengeance and oldboy and the other one with hte name i forget? If so then thats a good buy, I havn't seen the one with the name i can't remember but oldboy and lady veneange were brilliant.

I thought Symathy for Mr Vengeance was the best of the 3, Old boy and Lady Vengeance are certainly slicker/more arty but the first is so much more harsh.

Is Oldboy the first one? That's the only one i've seen - great film, especially the scene with the hammer. Was Sympathy a prequel? And Lady Vengeance the sequel?

Sympathy for Mr Vengeance was the first one released - they are a trilogy only in that they all share the same theme, revenge.

That's why no characters or storylines cross over - well, that and everyone would be too busy recovering from their injuries..

I hope you know what you're getting yourself into. When I was 11 years old I was a skinny, weak little boy so I decided to eat everything in the house, including 17 easter eggs.
I am still carrying around that weight from 20 years ago.
