I thought this comic was gonna be about Luke Cage and Jessica Jones getting married, I thought it was gonna be a soppy, talking heads, love story, interlude kinda thing. I thought is was gonna make me cry just like that issue of Pulse did when Luke proposed.... What a guy.
    BUT.
It's action packed. There's a new updated Super Adaptoid that comes to cause trouble at the Avengers HQ, it's a nice tie in to the first New Avengers storyline and a nice twist on an Old Avengers villain.
There's tension in the ranks of the Avengers that's bound to come back in Civil War. Just what is Tony Stark up to?
Explosions, massive fight scene, fun character interplay. This comic has it all.
It slots right in with the regular series of New Avengers and is also a great starting place for new New readers.
And then guess what, it gets all soppy. Jessica takes two pages to tell Luke just why she's marrying him.
I cried for about 20 minutes.

You forgot the A+ artwork, Oliver Coipel blows my face off. Can't wait for this dude to stick with a monthly for a while.
  1.
Dig out the old Fantastic Four annual or the Essential reprint with the wedding of Reed and Sue. Beats the New Avengers thing hands down. Mind you if you're only after a comic that makes you cry.......

Little Star is pretty awesome. Anything that Andi watson does is great.

Ahh SF me ol' mate. It's better to take the staples out of the comic before you start flagellating thine eyeballs with it!
