    "BSG Mini series £4.99"

At that price there is no reason for anyone not to own the best thing on TV right now :-D

    hey, hey, hey, HEY

    The Breakfast Club, £3.99

sometimes i see something on play.com or another site, and the price is low but goes up before i have the chance to buy it. so don't forget, the real indicator of what a dvd or cd is worth, is eBay.

actually, if you can't bear to part with 3.99 its on the bbc tonight (Sunday) at 11.25 pm. you can then spend the money you've saved on FBDO on DVD instead.

breakfast club and snooker in one weekend. that tv licence is starting to feel like good value. a bit.

Evening with Kevin Smith 2 for just £5

    http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/3256455/An-Evening-With-Kevin-Smith-2-Evening-Harder/Product.html

theres a lot of DVDs on that site going for a fiver, but not all are the bargains they look to be. i saw at least two dvds on there i bought already for less (breakfast club was 3.99, now £5) plus my local tesco had (in-store) American History X for £2.86.

that said, evening with 2 is fairly new so i doubt i'll find that cheaper anywhere else.
  1.
Elm Street box set £12.00, Die Hard Trilogy 6DVD set £15.00 both at HMV.

And Evening with Smith 2 ~ it's good, it's funny but nowhere as good as the first. Too much of a good thing.
  2.
And Rob, the Gung Ho of Doom et al, pales into insignificance at the side of Starship Troopers.
  3.
Starship Troopers is fantastic. "I'm from Buenos Aires, and I say kill them all!" Genius gore splattered sci-fi satire. "They'll keep fighting...and they'll WIN!" More relevant than ever, too. Gotsta mighty big Jones to watch it again now, darn you.

Starship Troopers (and Robocop) are both genius with their violence and social satire. Anyone ever read the original books? Or even the comics? I'm often tempted to check them out.

As for gore splattered action, you all need to check, out the trailer for the new Rambo film.... Sly is a genius for bringing back this much gore into the violence (it's like the 80's all over again!).
