As everyone already knows, Thornton's Arcade is 130 years old this year. And, of course, it's Leeds Shopping Week this week too. The shops of the Arcade are opening later this thursday evening, we're all having special discounts and stuff. AND. OK Comics will be giving away free beer. From about 5pm we'll have a beer pump set up on the counter and, as well as encouraging people to donate to Women's Aid, we'll be giving away free beer while drops last.
Does this, temporarily, make OK Comics the best comic book shop in the world?
