I can't wait for this! I watched the dodgy recorded version from Comicon over and over and watching the proper version is even better, I reckon this could be up there with Batman Begins for "realistic" super-hero films.
I just meant the quote on the poster, rather than his actual OKComicswee-wee. But seeing as how Rob is tangibly excited at being able to buy a micturated upon Iron Man poster, perhaps Nimbus has the right idea.
"if it was really realistic stark would have caught some friendly-fire before the generic terrorists got hold of him"
that would only happen if he was British. If our soldiers ran around shouting "hoo-raah!" and "U...S....A" there would be no friendly fire incidents ;-)
wow, that just reminded me of the A-Team. Terrorists lock you in a room with some junk so you just make a terrorist killing armor from scrap. I'd like to see them elaborate on that in this "realistic" movie.
Realistic is something i doubt came up during the board meetings. I mean they have a guy in a iron suit pushing Mach 4 and outrunning F18 fighter jets.
Well suppose Ironman has to have something special up his sleeves, realism or not but letting a prisoner build a terrorist killing suit under your nose is abit much unless he somehow manages to build it very quickly or inconspicuously.
Also I think films will be using more F-22s and F-35s oppose to F-15s, F-16s and F-18s, simply because they're cooler. Recent films to have these are Die Hard 4.0 (F-35) and Transformers (Alot of F-22s).
Bit of a miss use of the song really tho doncha think? I mean have you heard the lyrics?
This film looks amazing, but I'm guessing like all the other MARVEL films lately it'll dissapoint..i hope I'm wrong though, becasue it really looks ace!
