Doesn't look bad although I think that the CGI version in the Ang Lee film looks better. Still think Iron Man could be the sleeper hit of the summer though.
I liked the Ang Lee film, this one looks a lot more mindless though (which isn't always a bad thing). Iron Man looks to me like it's gonna beat Batman Begins for best super-hero film (and ironically neither of them are truly super-heroes!)
Aparently, the Hulk V Abom fight is the finally battle and will last 26 mins. Hulk will turn up at minute 3...stop watches at the ready people.
The CG looks like a slight step down from the Ang Lee film (although that might down to the fact thats its a trailer) and compared to Iron Man, Hellboy 2 and the Dark Knight this looks missable.
Yeah, it's a bit weird. Batman, Iron Man and Hulk have all got proper, good actors in (Downy Jr, The Dude, Paltrow, Bale, Ledger etc) but for some reason I'm not impressed or excited by Tim Roth or Ed Norton in Hulk...
Following the poor reviews for the first film, in a rare interview Hulk said; “ I told you you wouldn’t like me when I’m Ang Lee.” Thanks! But I gotta tell ya I just flew in and Boy! are my arms tired! Boy, those never get old, do they?
I liked the first film (except Hulk looked like an angry jelly baby), as long as Hulk smashes puny humans in this one all will be well.
I thought that the first film was pretty good considering some of the poor plotlines. The new trailer suggests that the film has bucket load of STR potential. Straight to rental that is.
Roberto: I'd just like to add..I also intended no slur on the Taiwanese. Mr. Lee (the English one) is so very very funny so very very often.
OKComicsman: How much are the Hulk and Iron Man Omnibooks? Are they part of your hardbacks at paperback prices. ("Yes, but the paperbacks are £69.99. HO! You, big smart @ss, Lamont! You like that, eh? Eh?")
NT: I can't believe you resisted the temptation to say The Abomination looked...(C'mon! Everbody all together now!....) You have far too much restraint. Also my personal phrase memory has been updated. No more DTV for me, it's STR from here on in.
I quite liked the first one. It had Sam Elliott and Jennifer Connelly. Ok, so it had the silly dogs and that thing that happened at the end, but I don't think it was really the shambles that some people make out. The new trailer just looks like an average summer blockbuster.
As opposed to the Iron Man trailer which has me frothing in a little fanboy tizzy. (Which is good, lest there be doubt...)
