And as they all appear to be collections try some Cerebus or Carl Barks. If we're considering true graphic novels read some of the earlier Eisner particularly A Contract With God. Try starting at Zot! for Z.
isnt that what a graphic usually is a collection of comics i mean i know alot of indy stuff is released into graphic but mostly it is collections, hey at least i didnt miss any letters out
Some people use the term Graphic Novel to meen an original work released as one book, not a reprint of a previously published series. A lot of people think of these books as 'collections' or 'trade paperbacks', which is now kind of redundant as most are 'mass market paperbacks' now anyway. I prefer the term 'book'. But, yeah, definately check out Eisner. Contract With God is good, but I think I prefer Dropsie Avenue.

How about an A-Z of great comic stories that have never been collected into book form? Such as 'The New Adventures of Hitler' or 'Reverbstorm' or 'Gumby's Summer Fun Special' or 'Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Vanishing Villain' or 'Paradax' or Michael Kaluta's comic adaptation of the movie 'The Abyss'
