    And who might that be?
  2.
I can't say. Secret identities should be kept secret. But Billy looks like a bit of a bruncher to me.

Kunkel's Herobear was one of the best comics of recent years and from the promo art featured in the link I think it might actually be a good (if not the recent best)interpretation of a too often misused character.
  4.
The art looks, if I may say so, "delightful".

I didn't realise you were a Judd Winick fan, NT. Can't say I care for The Albino Cheese variation myself.

Now if only some one was offering a FREE copy of "Gentleman"Jerry Ordway's Power Of Shazam! GN. Perhaps more people could learn to love The Big Red Cheese.
  5.
Got hold of a copy of the Shazam reprint hardback from the 70s which features rather nice reprints (admittedly in B&W) of some classic Golden Age stuff. And OKO reckons that DC will be reprinting the original CC Beck Monster Society Of Evil story line sometime soon. Who needs Ordway?
  6.
OOOooh, you big meanie! I like Ordway, but I'm not reliable - I'm working my way through Showcase Presents: Shazam! They're supposed to be sh*t-tastic but I'm quite digging on them in a crazy way gone way daddio!

That's great news about the reprints, hopefully it will be affordable too say now, how much did THAT little purchase cost? "Shazam! From the '40s to the '70's" was it? Hmmmm. Best not tell Mrs NT, eh?
  7.
Cheaper than some copies I've seen listed but more than I would have liked to have spent. But for a book that is over 30 years old it's in cracking condition and an excellent collection.
  8.
    I'm just jealous.

Hey Kids! Don't forget "The Greatest Shazam! Stories Ever Told" is out now. They aren't of course (they never are in these things) BUT it has a big wedge of G*I*L K*A*NE in it. Hmmm. £16.99 from OKComics I hear.
