I met Humberto Ramos yesterday at a Q&A in a comic shop in Madrid. The Q&A was a little tricky because I didn't understand a lot of it but one or two things slipped through.
Anyway, he's a super nice chap. I got my singles of Revelations signed and had a chat with him (his English is damn good, so that was a relief) and he did me a rather lovely sketch of Lucy from Revelations. My flatmate got a nice Lobenzo (Wolverine, to most people) too.
I also got OK a little personalised autograph which I'll be sending along soon.
What's Revelations like? I'm a HUGE fan of Rex Mundi and so wanted to check this out but never got round to it (to be honest his art put me off, I like it on some things but for some reason it didn't click with me on this).
Revelations is great. Well, I think it is. I picked up the first issue because of the mosaic cover and was hooked. A nice little mystery story with a London detective investigating a suspicious death at the Vatican. It's by Paul Jenkins. I like all of his stuff that I've read. Ramos' art is a little more cartoony in it than in other stuff, but I think it compliments the drama in the book.
I know there's a collected edition of it in Spain so I'll assume that you could find one in Blighty.
I can recommend a great comic shop that can probably help you, if you wish!
