I like that it is a team-up of 2 Ditko creations, I hope he gets to colour it himself. He says that at 3 issues it will be the longest comic he has ever done, good grief.
  2.
It will also be the longest good Dr. Strange comic since 1997 ("Dr: Strange: What Is It That Disturbs You, Stephen?" By P Craig Russell).
    McCarthymania starts now!

Bryan Hitch says that McCarthy is writting, pencilling, colourings and digitally mucking about with the images himself.
I didn't really like the "What is it that Disturbs you, Stephen?," or the recent Brian K Vaughan miniseries, certainly not the JMS "revamp." It would be nice if they reprinted the Marshal Rogers issues (vol 2 47? - 52?), and an affordable Ditko omnibus.
  3.
Shouldn't that be "Hitchy", what kind of fanboy are you?
Whatever McCarthy does it will be Gold and totally impenetrable to mere mortals such as mine bad self. Still Gold though.

Did you know that the title to "DS:WIITDY,S" was taken from Marvel Premiere #7 (featuring PCR's first DR. S artwork)? You did, didn't you., you cheeky OKO you. Well, it won't make you like it any better either way.

An affordable Ditko/Colan/Rogers Omnibus would be the stuff of greatness made paper. Yes! The Gene "The Dean" Stuff where the MD of Mystery lost his face and wore a mystic blue bucket, you know it, you love it, you'd buy it!

Kheerist! JMS is a pappyily pompous writer of empty bombast at the best of times but that Strange "revamp" thing took the biscuit, The Matrix ? Nope, never seen that. And neither has anyone else. Ah-huh. Jeeze.

Seriously, why can no one write the GP of the grotesque these days? Who cares, Give. Me. My Ditko. Omnibus. Vishanti commands!
  4.
Isn't the Ditko run already available as either a Marvel Masterworks hardback and/or an Essential run? And lets not forget Frank Brunner's pencils and Steve Englehart scripts on the good Doctor's return in Marvel Premiere & DS: Master Of The Mystic Arts (1972~1974?).
  5.
As soon as I buy either the Masterworks/Essentials you KNOW Marvel will announce an Omnibus. I bide my time. Let's see who blinks first,eh, Marvel. Eh?

Does anyone recall anything about Frank "Will Eisner's The Spirit" Miller taking on the good Doctor back in the '80s? I'm sure I recall a House ad declaring such a thing but I can't recall ever buying it and I'm sure I would have). A little help Strangiacs, huh?

Miller got busy doing Ronin, so Marshall Rogers drew there stories Frank miller was supposed to.

Dude! The Eye of Oliver opens like a flower and disgorges wisdom all over me! Cheers.

What if Miller had done Dr S instead of Ronin, eh? One pebble, many ripples as The Ancient One might say. No Ronin...no Dark Knight....no Dark Knight...no! truly that way madness lies.

Thanks for clearing that up, OKO.
