Now most of those are indeed utter gash. In fact some transcend artistic opinion - for example I know, just KNOW, that Epic Movie is incredibly bad even without ever seeing it. BUT, Highlander II: The Quickening!? There's dozens, nay, hundereds of worse films. Dissapointed that Runaway Bride, Jet Li's The One and Oceans 12 aren't in there.
Jet Li's The One? Mike, how could you? First off, it should now be referred to as Jason Statham's The One. And second, that was the highlight of our time in Vegas, baby. You tell me The One is bad, I say "that order is bull$hit!"
I feel I should add Jumper as it is one of 4 films (along with Anchorman, From Hell and Constantine) I have turned off half way through. Usually I'll stick a film out to the end just to be fair. Hell, I even managed to get all the way through In The Name Of The King, but that was more because I found it unintentionally funny.
The One is bad (and I'm a huge fan of Li and Statham) but I wouldn't put it in a top ten.
I think Batman & Robin has won simply because not only was it a bad film but it killed the franchise, there are single films out there that are much, much worse.
Queen of the Damned was a stunningly awful film, as was Mission to Mars. But, to be fair, most of the films on the crappy Sky channels (Movies 4 Men, etc) are way worse than any of the films we're all citing.
Really? Smiggy, I'm concerned. You may need professional help. Despite my spirited defence, I think we can prove that both The One and Mission To Mars were awful.
I'd have to put Twilight into that list. Such a dull, wingey, hand wringing fart of a film. My girlfriend who is into vampires and that thought it was poo too.
I had three favourite parts in Batman and Robin 10 this week. 1. The bit in the board room. 2. The bit with the portraits. 3. Every time Damien opens his mouth.
He wouldn't say anything because he's been reading Batman since 1937 and it doesn't seem to make sense any more, is he dead? or is he a cave man? Sigmund Freud can' tell! Actually the steely minded Austrian Jew intellectual would probably love Batman And Robin what with his whole free association/unconscious mind schtick. Heck, he'd not be asking for it removing from his pull list. Au contraire, old chum, Sigmund Freud would be all over Batman and Robin like a psychosomatic rash. But then again he might just say sometimes a rose is just a rose and then push Carl Jung's bins over and laugh!
