I dunno much about the DC uni, but I'd say the JLA should have Supes, Bats, Wonder Woman and...other people? Black Canary if she still wears fishnets, the Green duo...

Avengers should include Iron Man, Thor and Cap, really. After that you need an ex-con, a chick and someone who changes size.

Storyline wise it makes no sense for Batman to be in the JLA. Why would he? I never got that.

My Avengers would consist of Jesse Custer, Marv, Darth Vader, Usagi Yojimbo, Jenny Sparks, Optimus Prime, Johhny Cash, Eric Cartman and probably Spider-Woman, written by Chris Ware and drawn with animal heads by Jason.

My justice league wouldn't have Batman either. A moody vigilante inspired to revenge by the death of his parents wouldn't pal about with aliens on the moon!

Of course Batman doesn't fit, but DC only have two characters and Supes isn't a team on his own (unlike former WWE star One Man Gang)...

Oh, and Lady Deadpool should be an Avenger.
  2.
Also, Wonder Woman. What's that all about? Never got her really.

Do many people buy Wonder Woman comics?

As a Marvel zombie pretty much most of my life I've never really "got" any of DCs characters other than Batman, whom I love. Then I read All Star Superman and Final Crisis and Superman finally clicked for me. I'm also quite tempted to try a few Green Lantern books, but other than that there isn't that much that appeals to me, certainly not Wonder Woman.

I was always more marvel, though i preffered DC graphic novels because they had better story lines, I bought the DC encyclopedia a couple of months ago though it`s the best book ive owned something like 1,200 characters with double page spreads for the bigger characters, its heavy though ya cant read too many pages feels like your arms will fall off.
As for batman on the team i think all the others secretly hate him, he always gets it right and you can see them looking at him, its funny in one of the green arrow books when he`s imitating batman holding his arm up like a cape and saying "i expect the unexpected". Gives green arrow a human side, and he needs character to make up for a lame super power e.g. boxing glove arrow.

Woah! Lame!? Boxing glove arrows are cool!

Yeah in an alleyway against a hood maybe mike, but when your fighting aliens with spaceships the size of planets.

I see in one of his issues he was homeless and made a makeshift one out of an empty bleach bottle on a stick.
  4.
Rather than a boxing glove arrow wouldn't that be an empty-bleach-bottle-on-a-stick arrow? Was that that same Green Arrow series where they brought back those child-friendly icons Stanley and his Monster but with child abuse and gory violence? Super stuff that. Really Dark! Oooooh! Dark Stanley and His Monster! Dark!
Green Arrow does in fact have a super power. It is the power of amnesia inducing face furniture. After all no-one else in the entire DCU, human or meta-human, sports a goatee and 'tache like Green Arrow. Apart from Oliver Queen. Yet Green Arrow's civilian identity baffled all for many decades, even The Batman. Memory loss man face-fur is the only explanation.
  5.
My dream JLA would be the Jewish Legends of Art:
Jacob Kurtzberg, Eli Katz, William Erwin Eisner, Howard Victor Chaykin, Joe Kubert, Wallace Wood and Harvey Kurtzman.

Kids! Thrill to their cockle warming adventures as they sit at drawing tables for decades pausing only to variously quarrel, light ciggies, fail to publish themselves independently, drink too much, sire children, make bad business decisions and basically just define the Dreamscape of generations gone, generations existant and generations yet to be!
Join these two-fisted titans of the four colour funnybook each and every month in their never ending fight against mediocrity! Jewish Legends of Art #1 - out never!

Thats funny batman not reading his face, especially because in one issue green arrow was brought back from the dead, and batman drugged him and took him to a lab to check his scars or something, and when he woke up he`s lamped batman, and batman says something like "that is green arrow he`s got his left hook". So the beard, face, build, voice etc is fine but if oliver queen ever punches batman he may be found out. I can imagine it, Get hold of this bruce! Ouch! hey wait a minute.....

JLA - should always be Green Arrow, Green Lantern(Hal), Martian Manhunter, Black Canary, The Flash, Batman and Superman

The Avengers - Best line up - Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hercules, Hank Pym (Yellowjacket etc), Wasp, Beast, Hawkeye, Wolverine, Carol Danvers

The JLA/Avengers crossover is absolute class and takes in all characters from both groups past and present.
